Get error alerts delivered to your inbox. Configure the recipients for email notifications from AbrovaTrace.

What you'll need.
  • Email addresses to receive notifications
  • Owner or admin access to the project
Works inside Iran. Email is a good default channel in Iran: it needs no chat service outside the country, and it works with any mailbox your team uses, including Iranian mail providers.

Which channels your project can use is shown on the Trace → Integrations page in Abrova Console.

Set Up Email Integration#

  1. In Abrova Console, open Trace → Integrations (integrations belong to the selected project)
  2. Click "Add integration" and choose Email (or "Connect" on the Email card)
  3. Enter a Name and fill in the configuration fields
  4. Click "Save channel" — or "Save and send test" to save and verify it
OptionTypeRequiredDescription
NamestringYesFriendly name (e.g., "On-call team")
RecipientsstringYesOne or more addresses (up to 50) — press Enter or comma after each

Managing integrations (add, edit, switch on/off, delete, test) needs the admin or owner role; every role can see them and their delivery log. See Roles & Permissions.

Configuration Examples#

  • Single Recipient — To: dev@company.com
  • Multiple Recipients — To: dev@co.com, ops@co.com, team@co.com
  • Distribution List — To: alerts@company.com

Email Format#

Each notification email contains:

  • Subject — [AbrovaTrace] New Error: TypeError: Cannot read property 'map' of undefined
  • Error message and stack trace
  • Project name and environment
  • When the error first occurred
  • Number of occurrences
  • Page URL and user agent, when the error has them
  • A link to view the error

New-error emails are sent the first time an error is seen. Spike detection also emails these recipients, and alert rules and cron monitors do when you pick this channel for them.

Best Practices#

Use Team Distribution Lists

team@company.com instead of individual addresses

Filter on the Subject

Every email subject starts with [AbrovaTrace], which makes inbox rules easy

Set Up Email Filters

Create filters in your mail app to organize AbrovaTrace notifications

Multiple Integrations for Teams

Separate integrations for frontend team, backend team, etc.

Troubleshooting#

Not receiving emails?
  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Verify email addresses are correct (no typos)
  • Make sure the integration is switched on in Trace → Integrations
  • Test the integration using the "Send test" button
Address marked in red?
  • Each recipient must be a valid address, e.g. email1@domain.com
  • Press Enter or type a comma after each address to add it
  • Fix or remove the addresses marked in red before saving
