Understanding Error States

Open / In progress

Issues that need attention. New issues start as Open and appear in the default Issues view.

Resolved

Issues that have been fixed. New events still increase their count, but the issue stays resolved.

Ignored / Archived

Issues you have set aside. You can reopen any issue from its status menu.

When to Use

After Deployment

When you've deployed fixes for multiple errors, mark them all resolved to start fresh.

Sprint Cleanup

At the end of a sprint, resolve all errors that were addressed during development.

Fresh Start

Starting a new phase? Mark old errors as resolved to focus on what's new.

Migration Complete

After completing a major migration or refactoring, clear the slate.

What Happens When You Resolve All?

  • ✓ All open and in-progress issues are moved to "Resolved" status
  • ✓ Integration notifications (Slack, Email, etc.) are only sent for brand-new issues, so resolved issues don't notify again
  • ✓ Error history and occurrence count are preserved
  • ✓ Resolved issues can be viewed by filtering Issues by status
  • ! If the error occurs again, its count and last seen time update but it is not reopened automatically — reopen it yourself if needed

Best Practices

Review Before Resolving

Quickly scan the list to ensure there are no critical unaddressed issues

Watch Last Seen

Resolved issues are not reopened automatically — check the Resolved filter for issues whose last seen is after you resolved them

Use with Ignore Rules

Combine with Ignore Rules so known noise is dropped before it ever becomes an issue
