Coming soon.

Self-hosted Abrova Trace is not available yet. This page describes how it will work. To be told when it launches, or to talk about running Abrova Trace on your own servers, contact us.

Self-Hosted Overview & Setup#

Run AbrovaTrace on your own infrastructure. Same features as the cloud version — you control the data.

Same SDKs, Same Dashboard.

Self-hosted uses the exact same SDKs and dashboard as the cloud version. The only difference is where the data is stored.

What you get#

  • Error tracking, logs, APM, breadcrumbs, crash detection
  • Dashboard with all the same features as cloud
  • 6 SDKs: Flutter, Next.js, Node.js, Android, iOS, Laravel
  • Source maps & dSYM symbolication
  • Alert rules, cron monitors, integrations (Email, Webhook, etc.)
  • Data stays on your server

Prerequisites#

  • Docker & Docker Compose
  • 512 MB RAM (Console) + 1 GB RAM (Trace)
  • Works on a small VPS or a local machine

Install Abrova Console#

The Console is the shared dashboard for all Abrova self-hosted services. It runs as a Docker Compose stack: the Console dashboard, its API and its own database, all on your server.

  1. Download the self-hosted setup files (published when self-hosting launches). They contain a ready docker-compose.yml for the Console.
  2. Create a .env file next to it and set your own random secrets and database password — the setup files list every variable.
  3. Start it:
bash
docker compose up -d

Open http://localhost:3000 — register your account (first user becomes the server owner).

Install AbrovaTrace#

AbrovaTrace runs as a second Compose stack: the Trace API with its own database and cache.

  1. Use the docker-compose.trace.yml from the same setup files.
  2. Create a .env.trace file: your own random secrets and database password, the address of your Console API (for example http://host.docker.internal:3004) and the address your dashboard is opened on (for example http://localhost:3000).
  3. Start it:
bash
docker compose -f docker-compose.trace.yml --env-file .env.trace up -d

Go to the Console (http://localhost:3000) and click Abrova Trace in the sidebar.

Connect Your SDK#

Point any SDK to your self-hosted Trace API by adding apiUrl. See the SDK Configuration page for all 6 SDKs.

Ports#

On your server, the stacks listen on:

  • 3000 — Console Dashboard
  • 3004 — Console Auth API
  • 3001 — AbrovaTrace API

Updates#

bash
# Console
docker compose pull && docker compose up -d

# Trace
docker compose -f docker-compose.trace.yml pull
docker compose -f docker-compose.trace.yml up -d

Licensing#

Self-hosting starts with a free tier that needs no licence key. See Self-Hosted Licensing.
