Filtering & Search

Find logs quickly with powerful filters — combine log level, source, environment, time range, and text or regex search to drill down to exactly what you need.

Last updated: 27 Oct 2026

Find logs quickly with powerful filters on the Abrova Trace → Logs page in Abrova Console. Combine log level, source, environment, time range, and text search to drill down to exactly what you need.

Filter by Log Level#

Click the level chips above the log list to show or hide each level; at least one level stays on. Each chip shows how many lines of that level are in the current range.

  • fatal — Crashes and unrecoverable failures
  • error — Errors that need immediate attention
  • warning — Warnings about potential issues (stored as warn)
  • info — General information about application behavior
  • debug — Detailed debugging information
  • trace — Very detailed trace logs for deep debugging

Filter by Source#

Pick a source in the Sources panel to see only its lines; ⌘/Ctrl-click adds more sources to the selection (on phones, use the All sources button). Sources are automatically created when logs are received.

Example sources: nginx, api-server, worker, database, cache.

Search is case-insensitive and matches any part of the log message, its metadata or its source. Switch on the regex toggle in the search box to match the message with a regular expression instead (case-insensitive, applied in your browser to the lines already loaded).

  • timeout — Find all logs mentioning "timeout"
  • user_123 — Find logs for a specific user
  • 500 — Find HTTP 500 errors
  • connection refused — Find connection errors

Time Range#

Choose from preset ranges to scope your search:

  • Last 1 hour (default)
  • Last 24 hours
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days

Logs are kept for 7 days unless you add 30-day retention (+50,000 Toman per project a month from your wallet), so longer ranges only show what is still kept.

Use the Environment dropdown to narrow to one environment.

Dashboard Features#

  • Level Counts — Each level chip shows its line count at a glance
  • Live Stream — New lines stream in as they arrive (the latest 1,000 are kept on screen); pause the stream to scroll and load older lines
  • Stream and Columns Views — Read one merged stream, or compare up to 4 sources side by side
  • Log Details — Click any log to see the full message and metadata

Saving a search needs the member role or higher; deleting logs or sources needs admin or owner. See Roles & Permissions.
